At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for a Cook to support our Food Services department. 

Job Type: CASUAL

Job Outline:

Responsible for a wide-variety of tasks including:

  • Preparing food assignments as directed by Chef or Assistant Chef
  • Ensuring effective and efficient utilization of food and equipment resources
  • Participation in and initiation of product development and evaluations
  • Development of purchasing requirements for special events, using computer applications
  • Prepares for special events and caterings as required
  • Reporting of inconsistencies in product utilization
  • Any other assignments which may be requested by the management team

Education & Qualifications:

  • Ontario or interprovincial Certificate of Qualification as a Cook. Red Seal required
  • Must be thorough, accurate and possess good communication skills
  • Previous experience as a Cook required
